What CLR Requires
CLR isn’t typical demand response. It requires our facility to:

Track ERCOT power targets every 5 minutes with linear ramping, and

Respond to frequency events within seconds (Primary Frequency Response/PFR),
giving ERCOT direct, bidirectional control to increase or decrease our load in real time.
Immediate Impact: Capacity Unlocked
Historically, our utility (TNMP) limited us to 2 MW until we could prove full controllability. With CLR now passed, that constraint lifts - releasing the remaining capacity at the site and enabling a seven-fold expansion path for client deployments.

How We Pulled It Off
This was a true partnership effort: OBM engineered custom integrations in Foreman, Priority Power connected our site via RTAC for real-time grid communications, and our team instrumented the facility for precision control and telemetry. We then completed PFR testing and live SCED validation with ERCOT observing performance in real time.
